The Institute for Human Rights acts as national correspondent for the Directorate of Human Rights of the Council of Europe.Since 1990, the Institute for Human Rights has annually submitted to the Council of Europea report on the developments relating to human rights in Finland.The report includes information on, for examples, laws and draft laws affecting human rights; parliamentary debates and questions on human rights; judicial decisions referring to the European Convention on Human Rights; and the doctrine on human rights relating to the European Convention on Human Rights
